I as well as many others have experienced this "no memory stick" error, and I and countless others have spent more time than we should have had to experimenting with other I can't believe all of these differen't camera models coming up with the same error code and Sony doesn't know what it means. First time it happened to me, I thoroughly shook the camera -- the error went away and the camera functioned normally...
