Sony Camera Memory Stick Error C13 01


If it's not sunny, or very well lit, it's almost impossible to take a shot that doesn't require some photoshoping later. Please let me know what all are the options I need to try to fix the problem. I have found a way around this and I hope this will also do the trick in eradicating your error code and hopefully save you some money. Right when I selected OK, the error message C:13:01 was flashing on the screen. POST!Has anyone else tried opening their camera and manually fixing it (like you see in the pictures above)? Sony Memory Stick Error The only thing i did differently was locking the memory stick when mounting but could not verify whether that mad a difference. To do this remove and insert the memory stick several times over. I had the same C:13:01 problem with the memory stick in a Sony CyberShot.

When the camera is accessing your M Stick to record the picture it consumes some energy from your batteries. I will try to fix that with the hardware consultant now. I too have had this problem before and thought it was a memory stick problem. I will nenver buy generic/fake memory again, learned my lesson the hard way.

Format.That will erase your pictures already on the stick but the device will be usable again.Worked for me.
