Im fed up losing all my family photos.. :( Thanks for any replies.. After I read all the above postings, I was getting desperate! Sony is dead. I took 65 vacation photos on my DSC-S85 today and then got the C:13:01 error code. BUT I CAN'T TRUST IT NOT TO HAPPEN AGAIN. I got the "C:13:01 format error" on my Sony Cybershot camera twice, and had vitually given up on my vacation pictures!

The point is to get that card to align properly. I used the "smart recovery" software from PC Inspector (suggested by Luc in Jan 2006) and recovered ALL my "lost" photos (some were damaged).
