Possible cause: Management point encountered an error when connecting to SQL Server. after looking at it I changed the permissions on the C:\Program Files (x86)\SMS_CCM\SMS_MP\web.config to Everyone (Read, Read+Ex)After doing that I can connect to the urls and the error went away.
After investigating further, I found a MSKB that describes the problem and has a workaround. Login. I have yet to remove the ISS role. I removed the MP, the SCCM client, installled the MP and the SCCM cliient again.
