Take the eraser and rub it on the gold contacts on the memory stick as if you are erasing writing on paper. First thing though, make sure you have tried replacing your memory stick with a new one. I have found a way around this and I hope this will also do the trick in eradicating your error code and hopefully save you some money.

My memory card has a message of C:13 also ask me t reinsert the memory card, but the memory card is inside.

I think I reformatted the memory stick in the Vaio's MS Slot, gave the camera's slot a blast of compressed air, cleaned the contacts and inserted and removed the memory card So my partner thinks it's better to buy a new one of the same model or another one.
