Other thing is that M sticks has their own life cycle. Befor this procedure I got mad for several hours trying everything to get rid of C:13:01. I will nenver buy generic/fake memory again, learned my lesson the hard way. It can be caused by dirty contact pins, or even a bad formatted M stick. I needed to reformat the card afterwards, and everything is working fine now. IT'S FIXED!!So after doing everything I said I did in the above post, I decided to crack open the case and have a look at the connectors.WARNING: Do not attempt this I've never had to replace the battery and the charge still lasts for over an hour.

one of her fixes worked for me. But i see all these ppl strugling with the C 213 01 error.Solution:Just format the stick with Windows, using FAT file system NOT FAT32. This will remove the error trapped in a loop in you main board. More about the author Have been to the recommended Sony site to reformat memory stick but it does not apply to the 512mb Pro stick!Camera works fine(at the moment) with Sony 128mb and 32mb.

Too large or too small and you can damage the screws to the point where no screwdriver would be able to remove them. IT WORKED!!!!
The fact is that there is only one memory stick that you can use with the DSC-F707, or lesser camera, and that is the MSH-128A (or 64A,32A,16A, but those are impossible Could not answer the question. Put the memory stick in your card reader and run the program. I can't check the folder name (DCIM\101MSDCF) because I can't browse to it on my PC.
