Just because you, and a few of your buddies can't find your own solution, to YOUR problem, doesn't mean others(Valve) need to "fix" anything. How do you fix the proxy? The current version doesn't require this as long as you have permissions to write into the location you have selected. I've already said it doesn't work that way. Older versions (prior to 1.1.4) required Administrator privileges to do most anything. Your issue is purely client side, and it isn't Steam's fault that something is wrong on your end. I downloaded and installed that launcher and I'm running fine now. http://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/index.php?threads/for-all-having-trouble-with-station-launcher.164176/
I hope this helps! When you find the program Station Launcher, click it, and then do one of the following: Windows Vista/7/8: Click Uninstall. To do this go to control panel, system and security, windows Firewall, allow and app through firewall, or just disable the firewall. There should be a line that looks like this: digestUrl=http://manifest.patch.station.sony….t/lp4/live/gamelauncher/eq2/live-full.sha.soe Delete that line, save the file, and then restart Launchpad.
At what f__king point did I say "Valve, this is your fault"? System requirements far exceed SWG's and Steam's minimums. I dunno about you ladies but this mans advice worked, thanks. Everquest 2 Launchpad Unable To Connect Nothing else needs to be set to run as admin, other than that executable stored away in the Station file.
bmickey06-25-2010, 07:45 AMTo some extent I can agree with the demand that it would be better to run SWG without running yet another program. Eq2 Launchpad Download I had this problem with the Steam install of SWG on Windows 7 x86. This removed the error message, and allowed the Station client included with the Steam package to load properly. http://archive.eq2wire.com/showthread.php?t=453714 Find More Posts by TSR-DanielH 06-25-2009, 08:16 PM #5 Xarous Loremaster Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 7 The Launcher has never worked on this computer, but I only installed

NO ONE TOLD ME HOW TO FIX IT....
The last time I came to you guys with a fix, you kicked me around like a bureaucratic hackey-sack sending me between Steam Support and the Steam Community Forums. haha but mine still does work because my pc is 32 bit instead of 64 bit :( permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]axarax 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago(2 children)The Proxy was my problem. However, I made no changes other than setting the LaunchPad APP, the SwgClient_r APP, and the Steam Client to run as admin(Steam Client HAS to be set I have seen that program do some truely weird things. Eq2 Launchpad Not Working
There was no mention on the EQ2 Forums. For someone else it works. to Loading to Scanning Files... If you want to play now, you can try this workaround if you are getting this error. The workaround is to open your client directory and edit the LaunchPad.ini file.
